They’re hostile at the start, but if you befriend them you can reach this city, and access Noldor equipment as well as soldiers. A race of Elves called the Noldor who though their civilization is far superior to that of mankind, especially military given how good their troops are, were pushed back by the hordes of man to the woodlands of Laria and live in a hidden city. There are also various Knighthood Orders, and you can join or create one in order to enlist powerful unique Knights, but some of them are hostile early game and can be a real challenge to avoid. ![]() All of these factions raise massive armies that you or enough campaigning nobles will have to defeat. ![]() There are various nomadic warrior peoples and such that are formidable in combat, and various religious cults like the Snake Cult that have a lot of influence in Pendor evidently. There are also however numerous factions that aren’t nations. The continent of Pendor, much like Calradia, was once united by the Empire of Pendor, but it fell apart, and now the five Kingdoms wage war against one another in its absence. Sure! Basically it’s set in a world very similar to Calradia, with five very diverse factions, all of which can be compared to different civilizations irl.
